Where did October go?! I have been a little M.I.A. this month…with good reason.
We have been doing a lot of baby gazing...
enjoying fall activities….
and celebrating our favorite 3 year old!
October 1st we welcomed our daughter, Frances Olivia, into the world. She is a wonderful gift from God and the perfect addition to our family!

Our 'Cupcake' is 3! Moments before we took these pictures Ems busted her lip- but it seemed appropriate. She is accustomed to hurting herself. She likes to play pretend, mothering her baby dolls, Memory, dress up, Legos with her brother and sweet treats! She brings so much laughter to our home.

This session was a dream! I love it when clients provide a unique and special place to do their session! We did this family session at their farm and home right outside of Stillwater. Mom and I had discussed putting their couch outside in the field, but a huge thanks to dad for actually doing it! Such a kind and sweet bunch!

Three times the fun! Two might be the toughest age to photograph, so when you multiply it by 3 it becomes a little intimidating! Having Grandpa, Grandma and Auntie there to help entertain was super helpful!

Hannah! I've known Hannah for like 'forever'! Seriously, since elementary years. So it's safe to say-I have watched her blossom! What a beautiful young lady she has turned into! Kind, smart, sensitive and, oh so, giggly!

We have loved getting to know this family, especially since we were both 'new' to Stillwater this summer! We did this session in their backyard on a hot summer morning- it wasn't too bad in the shade :)

Where do I start?! I LOVE this family. I am not alone when I say they are some of my favorite people…ever. This summer, while 8 months pregnant, they moved back to their home town in north MO. Sigh. It was sad.
So we made a girls weekend of it and road tripped to Chillicothe, MO (home of sliced bread)!! It was so lovely to meet baby Jane, experience Chillicothe for myself, and to see where these dear friends have settled. This wan't your typical newborn session- we would do some pictures, drink some coffee, talk, take some more pictures and repeat.
Allison is awesome at loving her friends and she incorporated them into her nursery, of course. Her bedding was custom made by Lora Karraker and her sheet was monogramed by Sarah Corbin.

I think I have said this multiple times...but I LOVE doing newborn sessions in my clients home. It gives me an opportunity to photograph the nursery!! I am so impressed with the countless hours that are spent on these precious rooms. So much love in this little space for Emerson.
